Jasmine Holmes – HNC Construction

Looking to progress her career in construction, Jasmine Holmes decided to complete a BTEC HNC in Construction at University Centre Peterborough. Jasmine balanced working a full-time job and studying perfectly, and praised University Centre Peterborough for their support; “I worked full time and studied on the weekends. UCP were really great. UCP were very supportive”.

After studying for her degree at University Centre Peterborough, and enjoying the experience and style of education, Jasmine felt it was the best place for her to gain her next qualification, saying “I studied my degree there and enjoyed my time there, and felt that it was kind of the next step to do my HNC there as well”. Jasmine is hoping this qualification will further her current career prospects; “I can hopefully progress to the next level with the added qualification”.

A real highlight for Jasmine was meeting her new course tutor and learning from his wealth of knowledge; “my tutor Rob was great, he went through things thoroughly”. She continued, “He worked in the industry, so it was quite helpful to learn from his experience”.
