UCP Announce The Winners Of The 2022 Literary Competition

University Centre Peterborough are pleased to announce the winners of the UCP Literary Competition!

The competition was open to both KS4 pupils in Peterborough as well as the public, with categories in Poetry and Flash Fiction. The competition was organised and administrated by undergraduate student Kat Beeton, and judged by course leader and author Andrew McDonnell.

Andrew said, “It has been an absolute pleasure to read the work submitted for the competition, and all work had merit. There was however some that stood out as highly original and engaged me in ways that were new and thrilling. It was a honour to read all the creative writing submitted to the competition.”

The winners are:

First place: Annie Whyman – Jack Hunt

Second place: Jennifer Rae-Clarke – University Centre Peterborough

Flash Fiction:

First place: Parminder Summon
